Islamabad, Aug 11, 2025: BYD Pakistan has launched a special limited-time promotion for its recently introduced Shark 6 PHEV, the nation first plug-in hybrid pickup. Customers who confirm their booking before August 17 will be rewarded with a complimentary 7kW home charging unit.
Sharing the news through its official Facebook page, the company stated, “Get a complimentary charger with your BYD Shark 6 – offer valid till August 17th.”
Unveiled last month at a launch price of Rs. 19.95 million, with reservations starting from Rs. 3.95 million, the Shark 6 PHEV combines a 1.5T hybrid powertrain with twin permanent magnet synchronous motors, generating 321 kW and 650 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0–100 km/h in only 5.7 seconds and delivers a driving range of up to 800 km, including approximately 100 km on pure electric mode, thanks to BYD’s 29.58 kWh Blade Battery.

The interior boasts a 25-inch LCD screen, premium Dynaudio 12-speaker sound system, ventilated and heated power-adjustable seating, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 50W wireless charging pad, NFC digital key and dual-zone climate control with rear vents.
For safety, the Shark 6 PHEV is equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Alert and Prevention, a 360-degree camera view, Rear Cross Traffic Alert with automatic braking and multiple airbags for all seating rows.
