Islamabad, Aug 12, 2025: The new games are announced every August 2025 in the Xbox 2025 Game Pass through which subscribers can download and play immediately. All these titles will be available on their respective platforms, and at no additional cost when they release regardless of Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Windows PC.

August 5: Rain World (all Xbox platforms and PC)
August 6: Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, MechWarrior 5: Clans, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap(Xbox Series X|S)
August 7: Assassin Creed Mirage (even Xbox, and PC)
August 12: Aliens: Fireteam Elite (all Xbox and PCs)
August 14: 9 Kings (PC-Windows only)

The most prominent is surely Splitgate 2, a new sci-fi FPS where the mechanics of the portal allows a player to navigate through the maps and ambush his opponents in new forms. Although returning to beta to be polished up and somewhat controversial, Splitgate 2 is free on Xbox Game Pass, and has thrilling team-based confrontation with squad sizes of 3-24 players building to explosive mayhem.
