Islamabad, Aug 13, 2025: In celebration of Independence Day and the victory in Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Armed Forces will hold a special defence equipment exhibition at Shakarparian Parade Ground, opening for the public at 10am tomorrow (Thursday).

Visitors will get a rare chance to see advanced military gear, including weapons, tanks, aircraft, and vehicles that were used during Marka-e-Haq.

The exhibition will display artillery, rocket launchers, armoured carriers, and radars that played a vital role in the operation. A Pakistan Air Force fly-past and para-jumping display will also take place to mark the occasion.

Separately, a grand Independence Day ceremony will be held today Wednesday at Jinnah Sports Stadium, Islamabad. President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest, joined by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the heads of the three armed forces.

National and international dignitaries are expected, with special cultural performances, a joint armed forces parade, and another fly-past forming part of the program.

During the celebrations, the Prime Minister will unveil the Marka-e-Haq Monument. Military contingents from Turkiye and Azerbaijan will also join Pakistan forces in showcasing unity and friendship.
