Islamabad, Aug 15, 2025: The new format of the Caribbean Premier League, 2025 is announced.This season of the Caribbean Premier League has six franchises including Saint Lucia kings who are the current holders. The group stage is played in a home-and-away basis, i.e. both sides play each other, twice, ten matches each team and thirty group games.
The best four sides are then taken into the post -season knockout rounds. The third- and the fourth-ranked bands fight in the eliminator round.
The winner of Qualifier 2 is the loser of Qualifier 1- which involves the two runners- up playing- and the winner of Qualifier 2 faces the winner of Qualifier 1. The two qualifiers finally come to blows on 21 September.

It has the effect of maintaining tension throughout, recognizing consistency during the round robin, and producing high stakes playoff action.
