Islamabad, Aug 15, 2025: The Senate on Friday unanimously passed a resolution marking 1,500 years since the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The resolution, presented by PML-N Parliamentary Leader Irfan Siddiqui, reaffirmed the Upper House dedication to following the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and fostering unity, peace, and harmony in line with his teachings.

The resolution further urged federal and provincial administrations to honor the Prophet Muhammad birth anniversary in a respectful and meaningful way, ensuring nationwide celebrations reflect its spiritual and historical significance.
