The Poco C85, Xiaomi’s latest budget-friendly smartphone, has surfaced in new leaks, giving fans an early look at its design and features. This device, essentially a rebranded Redmi 15C, has already cleared regulatory approvals in the UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, and even received the FCC nod in the United States.

Its official launch is imminent, and tech enthusiasts can expect more details very soon.

Sticking to a familiar design approach, the Poco C85 abandons the circular camera module seen in previous models. Instead, it sports a square camera layout, likely featuring two lenses, an LED flash, decorative accents, and a “50MP AI Camera” label. The Poco branding is positioned at the bottom, while a stylized “Poco C85” logo confirms the model.

Up front, the phone retains the prominent notch and chin, reminiscent of the earlier Poco C75. Audio comes through a single bottom-firing speaker, accompanied by a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microphone. Leaked images suggest the phone will be available in Black, Mint, and Purple color variants.

Early spec leaks hint at a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals though not the deepest blacks. Brightness reportedly reaches 810 nits, ensuring visibility in various lighting conditions.

Under the hood, the Poco C85 retains the Helio G81 processor but upgrades its battery to 6000mAh, up from 5160mAh, and supports 33W fast charging, a significant improvement over its predecessor. Additionally, the device now offers IP64 splash and dust resistance, marking a new durability milestone for the series.
