The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have nabbed 380 suspects, including 213 proclaimed offenders wanted in heinous crimes, during the past two weeks.
According to media reports police teams registered multiple cases against those detained, including 108 suspects charged with illegal possession of arms. The operations also led to the seizure of over 37 kilograms of narcotics and more than 110 illegal weapons.
Among the recovered drugs were 18 kilograms of heroin, 19 kilograms of Ice, two kilograms of hashish, and 108 liquor bottles, while arms recoveries included 95 pistols of different bores, 15 guns, 13 daggers, and large quantities of ammunition.

The official confirmed that the 213 proclaimed offenders were wanted in cases of murder, robbery, and other serious crimes.
Under the directives of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jowad Tariq, multiple targeted operations were launched against drug traffickers, arms smugglers, and hardened criminals across the capital.
DIG Tariq reiterated the force’s resolve to ensure law and order, stating: “Special police teams are actively engaged in robust actions against narcotics dealers, arms smugglers, and proclaimed offenders to ensure peace in the federal capital.”
The ICT Police affirmed that the ongoing campaign will continue with the same momentum to safeguard citizens’ lives and properties.
