Rene’ The journalist Wierd Duk, with who he shares the table most of the time in talk show Vandaag Inside, is not of the biggest fans it turns out of journalist Ren The Gijp has confessed. He has spoken out about this in a podcast KieftJansenEgmondGijp, at a time when the new season of the popular television show is starting.
Rob Jansen questioned Van der Gijp whether he feels like home anymore as the program which Johan Derksen is fronting tends to focus on political debates. Responded Gijp: It is a pity that some people lose the memory where the strength of the program is. But he is old enough that I am not going to explain that anymore. I do not feel like doing it.
He further said that, television can be at times a matter of taste and preference. When he tells me he likes Wierd Duk I just shut up. That is his view. Either way it is not better or worse to me it is simply taste. It was nothing more than I simply told her I do not particularly like having him beside me.

Ever since this year began Van der Gijp is only appearing four days a week on the popular talk show. On Wednesdays he is not available. Albert Verlinde until recently held that position, however, and will henceforth concentrate on his job as commentator on RTL Tonight. Wierd Duk (65) would replace Van der Gijp as the new Wednesday on Vandaag Inside as per reports.
