The Punjab government has announced a plan to create overseas jobs for Pakistani youth by building direct contacts with foreign embassies and missions. This step is aimed at providing respectable employment opportunities for skilled workers abroad.
The provincial Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Department has been given the authority to directly approach international markets. Through these links, officials will seek job openings for young Pakistanis in agriculture, industry, and construction sectors.
Officials confirmed that Belarus has already offered jobs to Pakistan in multiple sectors, which is expected to pave the way for new career options for the youth. The initiative will move forward once formal clearance is granted by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior.
