The breakup of the couple in March 2025; resulting in the demise of their relationship raised some questions to their fans who wanted to know the personal moments that were not reported by the media. On the day of final hearing, Chahal appeared with a t-shirt bearing the words, Be your own sugar daddy, which immediately became a center of attention as the speculation that Chahal was a sugar baby began.
Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Dhanashree revealed how she felt when she heard the verdict. She explained that even though she was ready in her mind, she still could not hold tears and in front of all people she started to cry. As he was leaving the courtroom, meanwhile, Chahal left the mark on the audience with his t-shirt proclamation. Dhanashree went out through the back gate without media attention with her best friend to help her to come to terms with the moment.
Speaking about the notorious t-shirt, she said that had there been something Chahal wanted to say to her, he could have said it on WhatsApp. When I read it I simply laughed. That is when I understood there was nothing left to cry about,” she said, noting that it is a useful sign of closure.
