Recently a foreign tourist named Noraly, popular Dutch motorcyclist and YouTuber, came up with her account of harassment in Pakistani northern lands. Having more than 2.8 million subscribers, she filmed her almost 11-hour trip in downtown to Besham. Although the trip was characterized by marvelous sceneries, she came across situations that gave her sleepless nights.

Noraly has praised the kind of hospitality of people in her entire journey. She remembered a hotel owner that insisted on giving her a meal as a guest and not charge her. She, however, expressed discomfort with some police officers who would inquire personal things to her, such as her age, marital status and the reason she was traveling alone.

She was followed by the policemen and anti-terrorism squads as a precautionary measure and quite accidentally asked them the point in these investigations, explaining that she felt odd. One policeman even apologized, which she forgave, but was keen to emphasize that she blames the person not him.

The individual incidents were short lived, but Noraly insisted that the kindness of the ordinary Pakistanis were exceptional and the scenery was out of this world. Her narrative outlines the juxtapositions they could experience, such as the courtesy and breath-taking mountains on the one hand and the slight but significant hassles of being a foreign visitor harassed on the other.
