A major BISE Lahore corruption case has come to light after employees reportedly embezzled examination fees from students. The issue emerged when the results of over 2,000 ninth-grade students were withheld, sparking serious concerns about transparency in the board’s system.
Following the discovery, the Lahore Board suspended three employees suspected of involvement. An official inquiry is now underway, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, to examine the matter in detail.
Reports indicate that many students who paid their exam fees through banks or online platforms later found that the payments were not credited to the board. In some cases, students were allegedly forced to pay fines of up to Rs30,000 to receive their results.
