Silver prices followed suit in Pakistan. A tola of 24-karat silver went up by Rs108, settling at Rs4,121, while the rate for 10 grams stood at Rs3,533.

Analysts link this surge in the gold prices to global market volatility and growing investor demand for safe-haven assets.
