On the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will conduct open courts in Karachi on August 29, 2025, to directly resolve citizens’ document-related issues. These sessions aim to provide quick solutions for problems linked to CNICs, family registration, and other identity services without the usual delays.
According to NADRA’s official announcement, two major open court gatherings are scheduled. The first will take place at Mega Centre, SITE Industrial Area, Siemens Chowrangi Zone, on Friday, August 29, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second session will be held the same day at Mega Centre, Plot D 1-15, Block L, District Central, North Nazimabad Zone, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Residents are encouraged to attend the location nearest to their homes and carry all necessary documents to avoid any inconvenience.
These NADRA open courts in Karachi are part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to transparency and improving public access to its services. The initiative allows people to resolve issues such as CNIC renewals, B-Forms, and Family Registration Certificates on the spot, instead of making repeated visits to offices.
NADRA also continues to modernize its services through the Pak-ID mobile application, enabling citizens to apply for identity documents, upload files, track applications, and make payments digitally. This platform has been particularly useful for overseas Pakistanis who can now manage their identity records without traveling to NADRA offices. Recently, an upgraded version of the app introduced an application-tracking feature, helping applicants monitor their requests online.
