A major scandal has surfaced at Government Girls Degree College Dadu where a clerk allegedly disappeared after collecting admission fees and enrollment records from more than 200 students.

The clerk, identified as Zahid Panhwar, reportedly received fees from students seeking admission to BA, BSc and other departments. However, college officials later claimed that no such amount had been deposited in the official accounts. Panhwar was recently transferred from his post.

Students complained that despite paying their dues, the administration is now refusing to confirm their admissions, arguing that the fees were never received. According to the students, the principal has even directed them to submit the fees again, a demand they say is impossible for many to afford.

Frustrated by the administration’s stance, dozens of affected students staged a protest outside the college, holding the management responsible for the missing funds. They insisted that it was the duty of the college administration to recover the money from the clerk rather than penalize students.

The students further alleged that repeated complaints have gone unheard and no action has been taken so far. They appealed to Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah and higher authorities to intervene urgently and ensure their admissions are protected.
