The Punjab Food Authority School Nutrition Program has been launched to improve children’s health and eating habits in Lahore schools.

In the first phase, 40 schools will take part, providing students from grades one to five with nutritious lunch boxes. Each box will include rice, vegetables, pulses, and other healthy items to ensure balanced meals.

To support the initiative, PFA officials and staff will contribute from their own salaries. The Director General will donate three months’ salary, officers will give two months, and other staff members will contribute one month.
