Al Nassr kicked off their 2025-26 Saudi Pro League campaign in style with a commanding 5-0 win over Al Taawoun at the King Abdullah Sports City on Friday. Portuguese forward Joao Felix was the star of the night, scoring a sensational hat-trick on his league debut while Cristiano Ronaldo and Kingsley Coman also got on the score-sheet.
Felix opened the scoring early in the 7th minute with a calm finish, setting the pace for a dominant Al Nassr performance. Just a minute later, Coman added a third with a powerful header, catching the Al Taawoun defense completely flat footed.

The second half saw Al Nassr maintain full control, with Felix adding two more goals in the 67th and 87th minutes. His second came from a brilliant long-range strike, while the third was a simple tap-in after Ronaldo’s shot rebounded off the crossbar. The hat-trick marks a perfect start for Felix, who has quickly settled into his new team.
With this emphatic win, Al Nassr sent a strong message to league rivals. Their attacking lineup, featuring Felix, Ronaldo, Coman and Sadio Mane, looked sharp, coordinated, and lethal. If this performance is anything to go by, Al Nassr look well-prepared for a serious title run this season.
