Gold rate in Pakistan touched a new peak on Saturday, rising in line with the international market. The price of gold per tola reached Rs. 367,400, showing an increase of Rs. 3,600 in a single day.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold settled at Rs. 314,986 after gaining Rs. 3,172.

Abdullah Chand, a representative of APGJSA, confirmed that this is the highest-ever gold price in Pakistan, surpassing the previous record of Rs. 363,700 per tola set on April 22, 2025.

On Friday, gold closed at Rs. 363,800 per tola with a rise of Rs. 1,200.

In the global market, the yellow metal also strengthened. The international rate of gold stood at $3,447 per ounce (including a $20 premium), up by $36, as shared by APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also went up. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs. 81 to reach Rs. 4,202.
