The Deputy Commissioner of Sialkot has announced that all public and private educational institutions in the district will remain closed from September 1 to 5 due to the ongoing flood situation.
The decision was taken to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school staff, as many institutions are still affected by floodwater and cannot resume normal classes.

According to an official notification issued in line with the School Education Department’s directive dated August 29, schools will reopen on Monday, September 8.
Parents have been urged to prioritize the safety of their children during this time.
