Pakistan Customs Enforcement Karachi has successfully foiled a major attempt of smuggling Iranian diesel through Arabian sea, seizing over 18,000 liters in a major operation.
According to Collector Customs Moinuddin Wani, officials intercepted a suspicious launch named Al Khola near Ormara. Upon inspection, authorities recovered 18,271 liters of Iranian diesel hidden inside the vessel.
The seized fuel is valued at more than Rs. 4.9 million. Customs teams also took control of the launch used for smuggling, which itself is worth nearly Rs. 20 million.

All crew members onboard were detained, and both the launch and diesel were shifted to the ASO warehouse. A case has been registered under the Customs Act, and investigations are underway.
