Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in its 23rd meeting of current fiscal year on Monday approved 17 development schemes in the sectors of Roads, Irrigation, Health & Population, LG&CD, and the Punjab Development Programme, with a cumulative estimated cost of Rs. 86 billion.
Presided over by Planning & Development Board Punjab’s Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf, the forum approved following schemes:
Construction of Underpasses at Charing Cross, Race Course Chowk, and Army Graveyard Chowk in Rawalpindi, at a total estimated cost of Rs. 6,000 million.

Project Readiness Financing Facility for Punjab Water Resources Management, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,276 million.
A number of other schemes and projects were also approved during the meeting.
