The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has made it mandatory to obtain fresh map approval before beginning any construction across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Director General of the KPK Land Use and Building Control Authority, all districts must now seek new approvals for their construction maps prior to starting development.
The provincial government has declared previously approved maps under the Land Use and Building Control Regulation 2024 null and void. Projects that were approved earlier but where construction has not yet started will now require fresh approval. All commercial projects in the province must also undergo this new approval process.
