Pakistan’s star batter Fakhar Zaman has achieved a major milestone in T20 International cricket. Playing against Afghanistan in the ongoing tri-nation series, the left-handed batter completed his 100th T20I appearance.

Fakhar made his T20I debut back in 2017 against the West Indies, and with this match, he joined the elite list of Pakistani cricketers who have played 100 or more T20Is. Before him, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, and Shadab Khan had already crossed this milestone.

In his 100th game, Fakhar Zaman scored 25 runs, but Pakistan could not secure victory. Afghanistan posted 169/5 while batting first, and in reply, Pakistan managed to score 151 runs, losing by 18 runs. Haris Rauf showed some fight with a quickfire 34 off 16 balls, while Sufiyan Muqeem remained unbeaten on 7 runs.

Despite the loss, Fakhar Zaman’s achievement adds another shining chapter to Pakistan’s T20I history.
