The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has revoked the revised layout plan of the CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme.
According to an official letter, CDA’s Housing Directorate nullified the revised layout plan of the CBR housing project situated in Zone-5. The decision, issued on September 1, directly referenced Islamabad High Court’s earlier orders declaring the revised layout plan of March 2023 illegal and without legal authority.

The court had directed CDA to restore the original 2007-approved plan, ensuring that parks, green spaces, and utility plots remain protected for public use.
“In compliance with the court’s ruling, the revised and extended layout of CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme approved in 2023 is annulled, and the original Phase-I plan from 2007 is reinstated,” the notice stated.
The authority further instructed that no amenity plots or public utility spaces can be converted unlawfully, safeguarding the rights of residents against unauthorized expansions.
