The NUMS MDCAT 2025 has been rescheduled in light of the ongoing heavy rains and floods across the country. The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) has announced that the medical and dental admission test which was earlier set for September 14 will now take place on Sunday, September 28.
According to a statement published on the university’s website, the change was made to ensure fairness for all candidates. “Nums stands by the people of Pakistan affected by these rains and floods,” the message read.
As the admitting university, NUMS will conduct the entry test for admission into MBBS and BDS programs for the session 2025-26. The test will cover admissions in its constituent, affiliated, and all military-administered medical and dental colleges.
The list of participating public sector colleges includes Army Medical College Rawalpindi and Dental Section Army Medical College Rawalpindi.

On the private side, the colleges are:
- CMH Institute of Medical Sciences, Bahawalpur Cantt
 - CMH Kharian Medical College, Kharian Cantt
 - CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry, Lahore Cantt
 - CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences, Multan Cantt
 - HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences, Taxila Cantt
 - Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences, Malir Cantt
 - Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta Cantt
 - Wah Medical College, Wah Cantt
 - CIMS Dental College, Multan
 - HITEC Dental College, Taxila Cantt
 - Quetta College of Dentistry, Quetta Cantt
 
NUMS officials emphasized that the revised schedule is meant to provide equal opportunity to every applicant despite the current natural calamities.
