Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 FE, the latest addition to its Fan Edition lineup. The phone brings a larger 4,900 mAh battery with new silicon carbon tech, upgraded internals, AI-powered features, and Samsung’s longest software support yet, all while keeping the sleek design of its predecessor.
Design and Display
The Galaxy S25 FE sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 1,900 nits brightness for outdoor visibility. The phone retains Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and an Armor Aluminum frame with IP68 water and dust resistance. It also upgrades to an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Color options include Jetblack, Icyblue, Navy, and White.
Performance and Software
Powered by the Exynos 2400 (4nm) processor, the device packs 8GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS storage. Samsung has enlarged the vapor chamber by 10% for better cooling during gaming. It runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, and Samsung promises 7 years of OS and security updates, on par with its flagship models.
The phone comes loaded with AI tools such as Gemini Live, Circle to Search, ProVisual Engine, Generative Edit, and Audio Eraser, making it one of the most AI-focused Fan Edition devices yet.
Cameras
The S25 FE keeps the triple rear camera setup with upgrades for better results:
- 50MP main sensor with OIS
- 12MP ultra-wide with 123° field of view
- 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
On the front, there’s a 12MP selfie camera. The phone supports 4K video recording, instant slow motion, dual video, and AI-powered photography features like Portrait Studio.
Battery and Charging
Samsung introduces silicon carbon battery tech, giving the 4,900 mAh battery more capacity without extra bulk. The device supports:
- 45W fast charging (50% in 30 minutes)
- 25W wireless charging
- Reverse wireless charging
