In view of flood relief operations in Pakistan, the Punjab Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department has cancelled all leaves for its officers and staff. Secretary HUD & PHED, Noor-ud-din Mangal issued a notification directing all personnel to remain on duty.

According to the notification, all development authorities, horticulture departments and WASA agencies have been instructed to provide immediate support and resources to flood-affected districts. The development authorities and horticulture agencies will assist local administrations to ensure smooth relief efforts.

The notification emphasized that uninterrupted drinking water must be available at all flood relief camps. Officers have been ordered to stay present at the camps round-the-clock to monitor relief operations and support affected communities.

Authorities are coordinating closely to ensure that essential services and resources reach every affected district without delay, highlighting the government commitment to aid citizens during these extreme weather events.
