Nestlé Pakistan has stepped up its relief efforts for flood-affected communities, donating 200,000 glasses of NESTLÉ MILKPAK in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and dairy industry partners.
The initiative, carried out with support from Tetra Pak Pakistan, Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt Ltd, Omega Dairy Pvt Ltd, Happy Cattle, and Ever Fresh Farms, aims to meet the nutritional needs of families displaced by the devastating floods.
Earlier, in the first phase of its relief drive, Nestlé had distributed 300,000 liters of clean drinking water across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Punjab in coordination with NDMA.
Jason Avanceña, CEO of Nestlé Pakistan, said the company had already mobilized supplies to Narowal, Sialkot, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Chiniot, and Jhang. “We are committed to supporting vulnerable communities and ensuring their nutritional needs are met during this crisis,” he added.
Industry partners also reaffirmed their support. Awais Bin Nasim, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Pakistan, noted that the effort aligned with Tetra Pak’s vision of making safe food available everywhere. Nasir Zaman Khan, CEO of Bulleh Shah Packaging, highlighted the company’s role in providing packaging solutions to facilitate the free distribution of milk.
Similarly, Rashid Haleem, CEO of Ever Fresh Farms, underscored the importance of helping underprivileged communities during difficult times, while Hanif Memon of Omega Dairy and Chaudhry Sultan Mehmood of Happy Cattle stressed solidarity with flood-affected families and the urgent need to ensure access to nutrition.
Nestlé Pakistan said it would continue working closely with NDMA and industry partners to provide food and beverage support to flood-hit regions as part of its commitment to communities in times of crisis.
