Islamabad, 22 April 2025: All-rounder Aamir Jamal has been fined for breaching the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Code of Conduct.
The incident took place during a tense match against Peshawar Zalmi on Monday night at the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi.
Jamal was penalised 5% of his match fee for committing a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the PSL Code of Conduct.
This regulation covers the use of language, gestures, or actions that have the potential to provoke an aggressive response from a dismissed batter.

The incident occurred in the 15th over when Jamal, after taking the wicket of Hussain Talat, was seen approaching the batter and making an inappropriate remark.
Match officials Faisal Khan Afridi and Paul Reiffel reported the behaviour. Jamal accepted the charge and the punishment issued by match referee Iftikhar Ahmed.
Despite the controversy, the Kings managed to clinch a narrow two-wicket win—marking their third victory of the tournament.
Chasing a modest target of 148 on a challenging pitch, the Kings reached the total in the final over, with Hasan Ali striking a boundary on the leg side to finish the game.

The innings had a shaky start, with opener Tim Seifert dismissed on the first ball by a sharp in-swinger from Luke Wood.
James Vince also departed early, putting the Kings under pressure. However, captain Shan Warner held the innings together with a composed 60 off 47 deliveries.
He built steady partnerships with Saad Baig, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Mohammad Nabi, and Khushdil Shah.
After Warner, the Kings slipped to 133/8, but Khushdil Shah’s unbeaten 23 off 17 balls sealed the win with three vital boundaries.
Karachi Kings are next set to face Quetta Gladiators on April 25 at the Gaddafi Stadium in their sixth match of PSL 10.
