Islamabad, Oct 13: AAOU 37th International Conference Begins at Allama Iqbal Open University. The 37th annual conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities AAOU is underway at Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU.
Renowned education professionals from over 20 countries including Europe, Asia, the US, Canada, China, Japan, Australia, and South Africa will come together for the three-day conference, which begins on October 15.
Today, October 14, a pre-workshop for the AAOU 37th will be held with participation from several international delegations. Tomorrow, October 15, at 9 AM, is the first scheduled meeting. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Federal Minister of Education and Vocational Training, will be the main guest.
The conference’s goals, according to AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood. Were to address issues facing the education sector going forward and to produce suggestions for advancing social and economic growth via efficient educational practices.
“The event will attract approximately 80 international experts from 20 countries, alongside more than 200 Pakistani educators,” said conference coordinator Dr. Zahid Majid. Scholars from Pakistan, South Africa, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, and South Africa will be among the distinguished keynote speakers.
The purpose of this important conference is to promote discussion and cooperation in the field of distant learning with the goal of enhancing accessibility and educational practices globally.
