Islamabad, June 11, 2025: Famous Pakistani actor Faysal Quraishi has made a guest appearance in Hansna Mana Hai TV show by popular comedian Tabish Hashmi alongside Sonya Hussyn and Samina Peerzada for promotional purposes of his latest film Deemak which is released on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.
During the show, an unexpected moment unfolded when a female audience member questioned the originality of local television content, implying that “all dramas and films feel identical.” The question visibly irked Quraishi, who didn’t hesitate to respond firmly.
Challenging the claim, he asked, “Name a few dramas that are based on the same story.” When the audience member was unable to provide specific titles but generalized that most dramas depict ongoing disputes between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, Quraishi dismissed the argument. “We haven’t produced such ‘saas-bahu’ stories in the past three years,” he clarified.
