Islamabad, Sep 13: ADB Approves $320 Million Loan for KP Roads
The 900 kilometers of rural roads in the province that are in bad condition and vulnerable to flooding will be upgraded as part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Roads Development Project.
These encompass important roads that connect markets, healthcare, and education to isolated villages. The project includes steps to improve road safety, use sustainable maintenance techniques, and incorporate climate-resilient architecture.

Millions of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have more access to economic possibilities, shorter travel times, and cheaper transportation expenses because to this crucial infrastructure project, according to ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Yevgeniy Zhukov.
