The decision marks a significant step for Afghanistan cricket, as the country has faced challenges in hosting international matches on home soil due to security concerns.
By securing Abu Dhabi as their home base, ACB aims to provide a stable and high-quality venue for its players and visiting teams.
Afghanistan has previously used venues in India and the UAE for its home matches.
However, this long-term agreement ensures a consistent venue, which could improve the preparations of the team and performance in global competitions.
