Islamabad, Jan 29: The Ministry of Federal Education has teamed up with a U.S.-based academy to introduce an innovative AI tutor named Khanmigo in government middle schools across Islamabad. This collaboration aims to enhance student learning by providing personalized, interactive educational experiences, including support for Urdu.

Khanmigo will allow students to learn at their own pace, enabling them to bridge knowledge gaps and reinforce key concepts. The platform’s interactive features aim to make learning more engaging and effective, contributing to a more accessible educational experience for students in Islamabad.
The partnership between the Ministry of Federal Education and Khan Academy, the organization behind the AI tutor, is expected to have a significant impact on education in Islamabad’s public schools. The initiative will initially roll out in schools equipped with IT labs, which currently represent about half of the educational institutions in the capital.
An official from the Ministry of Education noted that Khan Academy, founded by Bangladeshi-American educator Sal Khan, is coordinating the initiative through its Pakistan office, underscoring the international collaboration at the heart of this groundbreaking project.
