Air Karachi, Pakistan’s new private airline, will start its flight operations on March 23, 2026. The airline has opened its operations office at the Old Airport Karachi, attended by business leaders, aviation officials, and diplomats.

Chairman Hanif Gohar shared that 42 businessmen have jointly launched the airline, aiming to support Pakistan’s economy. Air Karachi has received its RPT license and signed an MRO agreement with PIA.

The airline is now acquiring three Airbus A320 aircraft to begin its initial routes. Government officials have expressed full support, calling the venture a positive step for the aviation industry and Karachi’s business community.
