Islamabad, Mar 24, 2025: Alibaba.com is actively expanding its global supply network, reinforcing its presence in key markets like Pakistan and other Asian countries.
The company remains confident in securing larger trade routes as it pushes to maintain a 30% growth rate in its U.S. wholesale operations, despite ongoing trade uncertainties.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Alibaba.com President Kuo Zhang emphasized the company’s diverse supplier network, which spans China, Southeast Asia, India, Pakistan, and Europe.
This broad base ensures resilience against fluctuating trade policies and tariffs, allowing Alibaba.com to sustain its growth momentum.
One of the driving forces behind this expansion is Alibaba.com’s AI-powered sourcing tool, Accio.
Zhang highlighted that this technology enhances efficiency by seamlessly connecting buyers with suppliers.
Since November, over a million buyers have leveraged AI-driven search features on the platform, while more than 100,000 sellers are already utilizing its AI-powered tools to streamline transactions.
Despite economic concerns such as inflation and deflationary trends in China, global demand for Alibaba.com continues to rise.
Search interest in the platform has surged by 118% since the beginning of the year, reflecting the increasing reliance on digital trade and technological advancements that make global commerce more accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
