Islamabad, May 22, 2025: Amazon has rolled out a new feature on select product detail pages, allowing users to listen to brief audio summaries of items. This AI-driven tool offers quick, spoken overviews by analyzing product specifications, customer reviews, and other online sources.

Currently, the feature is being tested among a small group of users in the United States and can be accessed through the “Hear the highlights” button on the Amazon mobile app. The e-commerce giant plans to expand the service across more products and a wider user base in the near future.

This initiative aligns with Amazon’s growing focus on using artificial intelligence throughout its ecosystem. Earlier advancements include the re-launch of Alexa+ with next-generation AI technology, the launch of Rufus; an AI-powered shopping assistant and the introduction of personalized Shopping Guides offering tailored product suggestions and advice.
