Islamabad, June 12, 2025 — A moderate earthquake struck parts of southwestern Pakistan on Thursday evening 7:32 PM PST, as confirmed by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The earthquake occurred at 7:32 PM PST, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale. It originated at a depth of 25 kilometers, with its epicenter located approximately 190 kilometers northeast of Tubat. The geographical coordinates of the epicenter were 27.19°N latitude and 64.41°E longitude.
Tremors were felt in surrounding areas, causing concern among residents, though no casualties or damages have been reported so far.
Authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and the public is advised to stay alert for any possible aftershocks.
