Islamabad, July 11, 2025: In a recent development, the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department in Lahore has received an official communication regarding the renaming of a cardiology ward in Murree. The ward will now bear the name “Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Cardiac Center,” honoring the three-time former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The letter, dated July 9, 2025, was issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Murree, and has been submitted to the Special Secretary (Operations) for further necessary action. According to the contents of the letter, which is described as self-explanatory, the move is aimed at recognizing Mian Nawaz Sharif’s contributions to public service and healthcare development in Pakistan.
