Islamabad, July 9, 2025: In a shocking case of domestic violence and honor-based crime, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly shot dead by her own father in the Rawat area of Rawalpindi for refusing to delete her TikTok account.
According to police reports, the family initially claimed the teenager had committed suicide. However, evidence collected during the investigation disproved the suicide claim, revealing the girl was murdered.
Preliminary findings by Rawat Police revealed the father pressured his daughter to remove her TikTok profile. When she refused, he allegedly shot her and fled the scene.
