Apple has officially unveiled the AirPods Pro 3, the company’s most advanced wireless earbuds to date. With major improvements in audio quality, active noise cancellation, comfort, and intelligent features, the new AirPods go far beyond just music listening — they redefine the entire earbud experience.
Redesigned audio system with H2 chip
While the AirPods Pro 3 still rely on Apple’s powerful H2 processor, they now feature a re-engineered multiport acoustic setup with internal microphones and improved airflow management. This upgrade ensures punchier bass, a more immersive soundstage, and crystal-clear vocals. Powered by a custom-built driver, amplifier, and Bluetooth 5.3, Apple aims to set new standards in wireless sound performance.
Industry-leading noise cancellation
Taking on rivals like Bose, Apple claims the AirPods Pro 3 deliver the “world’s best in-ear noise cancellation.” The earbuds include upgraded microphones, an optimized ear seal, and advanced computational audio that blocks nearly twice the noise compared to the previous model. To boost passive isolation, Apple now offers five eartip sizes crafted from a foam-silicone hybrid, ensuring a perfect fit even before ANC engages.
Longer listening time with smarter charging
Battery life also gets a boost. The new earbuds provide up to 8 hours of playback with ANC enabled and an impressive 10 hours in Transparency mode, ideal for users who rely on them as assistive hearing devices. While total listening time with the charging case has been reduced from 30 hours to 24, Apple explains this is because each earbud lasts longer per charge. The redesigned case, now lighter and slightly larger, integrates the U2 chip for more accurate Find My tracking.

Comfortable, compact design
Apple has fine-tuned the AirPods Pro 3’s ergonomics with a sleeker build and inward-angled tips, adding an extra-extra-small (XXS) option. With five total ear sizes, the new design ensures comfort for all-day wear, solving fit issues many users experienced with earlier versions.
