Islamabad, 15 April 2025: Asif Afridi is aiming to leave a mark in the ongoing PSL 10 by focusing on two key metrics: the most dot balls bowled and the fewest boundaries conceded.
Speaking to Geo News, the 38-year-old revealed that despite battling the effects of an eye injury, his determination to perform remains unwavering.
Afridi admitted that he still experiences discomfort, particularly while running, but once the match begins, he shifts his full attention to the game.
He mentioned that his passion for cricket helps him overcome physical challenges, adding that once on the field, he focuses solely on delivering his best.

The spinner believes that such commitment allows him to forget the pain and concentrate on restricting batters through tight bowling.
Recognizing the ever-growing challenge for bowlers in modern T20 cricket, Afridi noted that the aggressive style of batting has increased pressure on bowlers.
Instead of setting long-term plans, he explained that he takes it one ball at a time, focusing on executing each delivery with precision.
His goal, he said, is to keep scoring opportunities minimal by increasing dot balls.
Reflecting on the ongoing PSL 10th campaign so far, Afridi seemed confident following the recent win of the team.
