Assistant Commissioner Pattoki, Furqan Muhammad Khan, tragically lost his life while performing flood relief duties at Head Balloki. The official had been tirelessly managing rescue and relief operations as the Ravi River caused extensive destruction in the region over the past few days.
Officials reported that Khan had been on continuous duty for four days, working around the clock in the severely affected areas without rest. His dedication to saving lives and assisting flood victims made him a respected figure among locals.
The officer suddenly collapsed at the Head Balloki rest house due to a brain hemorrhage. He was immediately transported to the Phoolnagar Trauma Center, where doctors confirmed that he had passed away.
