Dubai, July 22, 2025: The latest ICC rankings provide a clear picture of the world’s elite cricketing talent across formats, with Australia, as usual, dominating the Gentleman’s Game. However, India has seen a meteoric rise, with the Men and Women in Blue dominating player and team rankings across different formats.
As of July 2025, Australia leads he men’s test team rankings with 124 points, while India sits atop both, the one-day international (ODI) and twenty20 international (T20I) team rankings with rating of 124 and 271 points, respectively.

Individually, England’s Joe Root tops the men’s test batting rankings with a strong rating of 888 points. The English’s consistency and skill have been crucial for England’s dominance in the sport’s longest format.
Following him are New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and England’s Harry Brook, both notable for their adaptability and ability to score under pressure.
In ODIs, India’s Shubman Gill leads the batting charts with 784 points. Australis’s Travis Head dominates the T20I batting ranking with 856 points; he is known for his aggressive yet controlled style suited to cricket’s shortest format.
In bowling, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah hold the top spot in test cricket with 901 points. The ODI bowling rankings are led by Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana, whose mystery spin has proben highly effective. Kiwi Jacob Duffy tops the T20I bowling rankings.
On the women’s side, Australia remains the top cricketing nation, leading both ODI and T20I team rankings with scores of 167 and 299 points.
Indian batter Smriti Mandhana leads the ODI batting rankings with 727 points, while Australia’s Beth Mooney tops the T20I batting charts with 794 points.

Among bowlers, England’s Sophie Ecclestone leads the ODI rankings with 776 points. Pakistan’s Sadiq Iqbal has risen to number one in the T20I bowling list with 746 points.
