The Federal Higher Education Commission. approved a pay raise for university vice-chancellors. HEC Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed presided over the 43rd meeting, where this decision was taken. A new guideline regarding teachers’ leave from Pakistan has been introduced by the Higher Education Department. Teachers who wish to take study leave under this policy have to provide a Rs. 2.5 million surety bond.
