Lahore: Most of the plains will continue to face extremely hot temperatures today, Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday.The temperature is expected to be between two and four degrees Celsius above average for the next two days, the Meteorological Department has said. The Meteorological Department reports that Jacobabad registered the nation’s highest temperature on Tuesday, at 48 degrees Celsius.In addition to Sibi, the following places received temperature readings: Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Hyderabad 42, Karachi 36, Quetta 35, Okara, Kot Addo, Kasur, Leh, Jhang and Dadu 46, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Turbat and Nawabshah 44, and Gilgit.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has instructed the Federal Government of Pakistan to raise taxes on the sale of property for both filers and non-filers in the budget that will be unveiled on Wednesday (today), with the goal of making it more expensive for non-filers to conduct business.
