Islamabad, Aug 22: Teams from the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 28 houses and partially dismantled four unlawful constructions on Wednesday while conducting operations in Johar Town, Timber Market, Gujjarpura, Allama Iqbal Town, and Sabzazar. Three properties in Timber Market and stores in Gujjarpura were demolished as part of the operation because they were unauthorized commercial buildings. In addition, 19 properties in Sabzazar and Allama Iqbal Town were sealed due to non-payment of commercial fees. Additionally, nine Johar Town properties were sealed. Private offices, educational institutions, supermarkets, pharmacies, specialty shops, and well-known brands are among the sealed properties.

Islamabad, Aug 22: A cyber security alert named “Zero-Day Alert: Critical Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS Flaw Under Active Attack” has been released by PTA. The alert draws attention to a serious flaw in Palo Alto Networks’ PAN-OS software, which is extensively utilized in Global Protect gateways. The flaw is known as CVE-2024-3400.
