Islamabad, Sep 5: Up until September 2024, the Federal Board of Revenue has integrated 9,130 large merchants into the Point of Sales (POS) system to record transactions of Tier-I shops, including lodging and dining establishments. 9,130 Tier-I merchants were enrolled with the POS system, based on the list of retailers that the FBR produced up until September 2024. 506 leather and textile merchants were registered with the FBR until July 2024, while 660 restaurants were registered with the POS system out of 9,130 large retailers using the POS system up to that point.

Islamabad, Sep 4: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Education has officially launched the e-Transfer Policy for teachers’ transfers. Provincial Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai declared via video message that District Education Officers (DEOs) will publish open positions to the e-Transfer Portal by September 9th. Teachers have until September 20th to apply online for these openings. The applications will be verified by the appropriate DEOs from September 21 to September 24.
