ISLAMABAD, Aug 10 – The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has dismissed circulating rumours that Islamabad International Airport will be closed for eight days, terming them “completely baseless.”
In a statement issued on Sunday, a PCAA spokesperson clarified that no such shutdown is planned and that all domestic and international flight operations are continuing as scheduled.
“The reports of an extended closure are unfounded and misleading. Passengers are advised to rely only on official updates from the PCAA or their respective airlines,” the statement read.

Islamabad International Airport remains fully operational, with the PCAA assuring that any operational changes, if required, would be announced through official channels.
