Islamabad, June 23, 2025: The Bahrain Ministry of Education has officially directed all kindergartens, schools, colleges, and universities—both public and private—to transition to remote learning. This move is part of a precautionary plan to ensure the continuity of education while prioritizing student and staff safety amid rising regional uncertainties.

Educational institutions have been instructed to activate their digital platforms immediately and continue the academic process online. This includes virtual classes, digital assignments, and communication between faculty and students.

The Ministry has also reminded institutions that they may seek support or make enquiries through the official communication channels already in place. Coordination with the Higher Education Council will continue as usual, ensuring smooth implementation of the remote learning model across the country.

This decision reflects Bahrain’s readiness to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances and its commitment to maintaining uninterrupted education.
